In any game in which a player receives a five minute major penalty, or a player or coach receives a game or gross misconduct penalty, the following procedure must occur:

The manager of the home team MUST immediately following the game, email the following to Kathy at vicepresident@rmfhl.com :

A clear copy of the gamesheet
and
A copy of the Referee's report

If a player or coach receives any of the the above mentioned penalties they are not allowed to particpate in any games (league-tiering, regular season or playoffs, tournament or exhibition) until receiving permission from Kathy. A coach that plays a player that is suspended will be suspended indefinitely by Hockey Alberta pending a meeting. As a general rule, if you are in doubt, do not assume, ask Kathy.

The following Hockey Alberta Minimum Suspension Appendix is used by the RMFHL to assess all suspensions. Repeat offenders may be subject to suspensions above the minimum.
